#Designedtobedeleted. Yes, this Hinge picture was what captivated me. I swiped right in the hopes of meeting this beautiful girl so full of energy, dancing the night away with amazing friends. Her profile pictures (which I later learned were curated by Tade) reflected a polished and adventurous lady with a smile to brighten any room. I got a “hey” back a few weeks later and as they say, the rest is history…

This was the first photo we took together. Tee remembered me telling him how much I loved Christmas, so the first time I visited his apartment, he had the place decorated with red and green garland and these cute little Santa Clause hats. I loved how thoughtful he was.

Tee and I truly found love in a hopeless place - 2020, during the pandemic. Despite that, I found myself traveling to Puerto Rico less than two months after meeting him hahaa. From the moment I met him, I knew I could trust him, I knew he was a safe space.

What a birthday! Started off with mastermind Tewa making me believe that we were on a road trip to Toronto for a weekend trip...then somehow I woke up at the airport to board a flight to Washington D.C. A day of unexpected events ended in an absolutely wonderful surprise birthday party with family and friends. Hats off to Tewa aka "419" aka "Nigerian prince" for pulling off this amazing birthday!

This was one out of hundreds of pictures from a memorable 1-week cross-country road trip from Hartford, Connecticut to Seattle, Washington. Our love for nature and hiking led us to explore trails in several National Parks, visit Mt. Rushmore and come scary close to a bison herd. And yes we had a bison burger but not the same bison from earlier… we think.

This was the first and only time Tee got to meet my precious cousin Gbolu. It was such a happy time, the very last time the entire "Atlanta Ten" cousin crew was together. I'm so happy that Tee got to meet Gbolu, so thankful that Gbolu got the chance to give me his approval.

One of the best weekends of my life - New Years 2022. Somewhere in between Tee surprising me with the most romantic dinner, the two of us roaming the streets of Boston and bonding with complete strangers, and us crashing this wedding (Nope, we don't actually know Ashley and Nicholas, but we wish them the best haha), I realized I wanted to spend a couple of forevers with him. This was the exact day that... I just knew.

Our engagement day turned out perfect after 3 months of overseas planning. I got to propose to Tewa after a tour of Hakone, a picturesque Japanese town with views of Mt. Fuji in the background. This trip also marked the end of Tewa’s sabbatical abroad and started the countdown to our wedding. Note to self: Always have 2 people record important moments; our tour guide was in on the surprise, but forgot to press record for the whole proposal! Thank goodness I hired a videographer, phew!
